Salesi and Lucas Best frined for ever

One day Lucas and I went to the pools with my mum and dad. We went to the pools because it was so hot in the sun. We did not walk in the sun because it was so hot so we asked my dad if he can drop us off to the pools. When we walked into the  pools  I got changed and walked to the cold pool so it can cool me down. After 2 minutes I felt a little bit cold so I hopped out of the cold pool and walked to the warm pool with Lucas. When I got to the warm pool, Lucas and I played tag. I was in first. Lucas had 20 seconds to run away, but he was to slow so I caught up to him so fast, then I tagged  him. Then I ran away from him but Lucas did not chase after me, because he was to tired.  So he gave up. When we came out of the warm pool Lucas and I asked my mum if I we can have hot chips because we were so hungry for hot chips. Lucas and I had the best time at together. At school Lucas and I go and get the milk  from the hall. When we get to class, our classmates are doing SSR, they have to be reading when we give them their  milk carton. When the get their milk they say thank you to lucas or me. We love having nice cold milk after morning tea.

Going to the pools

GOING to the pools

In the warm sunny holiday I went to the pools with my mum and my little sister. When we got to the pools there were three pools to swim in. There was a diving pool a spa pool and a normal pool. I wanted to go to the diving pool so badly. Before going to the diving pool I wanted to go to the normal pool it  cools me off. After I cooled down, I played in the cold water with my little sister for 10 minutes.

 

Next I went to the diving pool it was so deep I couldn't touch the button of the pool because it was 3 Meters deep. thats as tall as our classroom. Then  the lifeguard asked me to get out because I was not allowed to play in the pool because it was for diving  and if someone was diving and you were in it, you might get hit. After a while I felt hungry so I asked my mum so kindly if she could buy me a sandwich. In the sandwich it had lettuce tomato and ham and it tasted so good.

At the end when Mum said it was time to leave, we went home and that was the most fun I had in the holidays. I want to go again some time.

TOPIC: People should include insects in their healthy diet.

People should eat insects. I agree with this because,  they are healthy, they need less water to make and they are nice to eat.It good to eat insects becase

they have 80% in them.

Insects are healthy because, they are full of nutrition like  fibre, protein and iron.

People make flour from the insects and turn it into cookies.  they taste good with soy sauce.

Insects take less water to produce 1 kg of insects only needs ____, 1 kg of meat like beef pork chicken needs

          

Henry the explorer

HENRY THE EXPLORER

The searchers could not find Henry. Henry was lost in the cave , he had to be so quiet or the bears will wake up and do something to Henry. Henry was so cold and hungry. Henry was in the cave all night he had no food , no water no shelter. Henry had nothing to eat or drink so he stayed in the cave until the morning and then he woke up.

It was the next morning he was so hungry and thirsty he hadn’t eaten for days. Once Henry found a bear and then killed it and he made a fire and cooked the bear. But the meat inside the bear was so yuck! When he was thirsty he drank the bear's blood. It was so disgusting  when Henry first touched it.

So that’s how hungry and thirsty he was and now he is not thirsty or hungry.  He lived in the cave forever and then he found his way to home. by pelenise and salesi

Happy is yellow like a bright sun.

It taste like  hot chips with friends in the park.

It smells like fresh air blowing at me. It looks like Happiest has been free to the open world.

It sounds like people playing and having fun.

It feels like happy is the answer.

Science week

Science week term 2

On Monday we had Mrs Raj for science.

We learned about solids,gases, and liquids.

               

On Tuesday we made two different breads one was smooth  and the other bread had lots of air holes in it. The air holes were from the carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide came from the yeast that we put into the dough.

I learned that you can make different stuff with different ingredients.

At MOTAT

On tuesday room 7 and 10 9  went to Motat.

First we went  on the bus to our meeting place to have a little talk .

Next we had morning tea then we got into our

groups.  

My group went to the steam room first.  

In the steam room there were engine for car and bot

Then we went to the telephone room.

at telephone room they were telephone where you can call other people.      

Then we went to the mirror maze.

The mirror maze is fun because when        

we walk into the mirror.

That was one of the best days at school.

The best part  of all is when we went to the mirror maze the end.
